Warehouse

Arya blushed a bit and looked at her feet, still smiling.
"Nothing." she smirked.

"Oh come one, i cant pry it out of you, but you can't leave me hangin eather" I yelled as I got to the top of the roof and carefully set down the shingles.

"I thought what are we gonna do without you" Arya said, looking out of the hole what 80 years ago must have looked like window.

"Without me? why me?" I asked confused "you'll be just fine...there are others here" I smiled as I sealed a big hole

Arya smiled.
"Ah, I'm a bit sleepy right now" she laughed. "I know."

"{well if you want you can head inside and take a nap. I'm going to try and finish this roof up before I leave" I stood up wiping the sweat from my forehead. The sun glistened off my chest and arms

"Oh, no, I'm not that sleepy" Arya smiled and sat down. She closed her eyes and enjoyed sunbeams play on her face.

I shook my head and turned my back and bent over to continue nailing in the shingles

Arya yawned and put her hands under her head. She looked Jarlon working.
'It's so beautiful day...' she thought herself.

Arya slowly fell almost asleep. She thought about how she had came here. First door she had knocked on was Rhea's. First night she was there she had slept in Rhea's house. It had rained hard. She had met Mika. Next day Mika had fell through the floor and hurt herself badly... this night she had slept in Cahoon' library. And... was it that night, when Jarlon had taught her reading? Arya smiled.
Oh yeah, she could read if needed. A bit.
Arya counted days. She had been in Vandecar for exactly 5 days. Almost a week. She had changed so much with this 5 days... she had friends now.
But now Jarlon was going away... and she didn't know why she felt so sad about it.
'Jarlon is my good friend, that's why' she told herself.
'Or... well... if we had more time... and I knew more about him... and he would know more 'bout me.... maybe then it would... ah, what am I thinking!?" she blinked her eyes, confounded. She never thought she actually hoped... or cared.... or both....

---> Rhea's House

As she approached the warehouse and she heard the pounding of nails. She looked up and smiled, "Hey there carpenter." she shielded her eyes from the sun, "How's it going up there?"

I was busy pounding nails when i heard someone talk. I turned around and looked down as my body glistned in the sun light. "Almost done...." I yelled down "what are you doing?"

She zipped up the side wall and sat far enough away that their combined weight wouldn't collapse the roof, "Just kind of looking for something to do, you need help?"

"Ummm.sure" I laughed and thew her a few shingles. "only have a few more spots then off to see what kind of damage we can repair inside the building" I winked

She caught the shingles and started hammering them in, "Alright." she said and smiled at him again.

The sun shone down on us as we worked hard to get the roof finished. As they did I turned around and stretched out on the roof and gave off a big sigh of relief! "DONE!" I smiled and put my arm up to my eyes to shield the sun.

"Now we work on the inside?" sh asked, putting the hammer down and sitting cross legged facing him. Her eyes squinted from the sun peered over the edge of the roof at Alec, who was sleeping on the grass.

"That would be the correct assumption" I smiled and sat up running my finger across my face and stopping at the scar that passed over my lips.

She followed his finger and stopped at the scar, "What happened?" she asked leaning closer examine it, "Ouch, looks like it was deep..." she said and trailed off.

Arya head Jarlon's voice. She opened her eyes and saw Dani and Jarlon.
'Oh.'
She smiled sadly, silently got up and walked out. She sat down, leaning
her back against the wall. She could hear voices inside. For somereason
she thought about Phoenix.

"Phoenix" she called.

Stallion soon came out of the woods. On his side was a long scratch,
what was still bleeding. Arya shivered seeing it. She got up and tried
to stroke his neck, Phoenix neighed and stepped back.
"Shh boy, it's okay, I'm here" she whispered, stroke Phoenix' nose and wounded her hands around his massive neck.
"Jarlon?" she called in, hoping his voice didn't sound very concerned.

I watched as she moved closer to my face and was close enough for me to smell her. I looked into her deep eyes as she looked at my scar. I was fixated as I then heard Arya's voice. "I tolled you already...." I waited "My worst mission" I winked and quickly got up as my skin glistened. I walked to the edge and got on my knees and looked over the edge. "Everything ok?"

----------------> From Outside

Rhea wandered over to the warehouse, and saw Jarlon looking over the edge of the roof down at Arya,
"Looking good," Rhea called wtih a large smile on her face. She always smiled when she spotted Jarl.

I sat up when I heard Rhea's sweet voice. I looked over "Ya I know..." I laughed as I flexed my large muscular arms and then my pecks. "Just kidding, ya the roof is done....now our harvest wont get wet and moldy. what are you doing?" I shielded the sun

Rhea laughed,
"Nothing, Need any help on something else?" Rhea asked sweetly

Danielle peered over the edge and dropped down in front of her, her knees bending a little to absorb the impact. "We were just going to start on the inside." she said and looked up at Jarlon, "Right?"
