Danielle turned and saw Bardon sitting there, she laughed with him, "We're almost done here anyway." she said, eying the little patch of weeds left.

He laughed.
"Now why would you envy me?" He grinned at them.

"why wouldn't I?!" I returned and smiled

Bardon raised an eyebrow and laughed.
"Ooohh so now that I have all the ladies after me, you envy me?" He burst out laughing.
"Nah just kidding."

"We all wish we could sit in the shade and chew on straw." she pulled out the last bit of weeds, "We're done!" and she turned and smirked at Bardon's comment, "Excuse me? We're not points in a game y'know."

I cocked an eyebrow at him Who does he think he is? I growled to myself. "Exactly they are by far points on a score board. I find them very valuable actually. Necessary to be exact. They show much more attention to detail than a guy can!" I protested. "and you've only been here for a day" I scolded

Bardon looked at Jarlon with surprise.
"Um...what...uh...did I do?" He gulped.
'I didn't do anything to make him mad!' He thought to himself.

------Town Center (Cahoon)---------->

Mika swiftly rode through the forest. She came to the edge and saw Jarlon in the fields. She saw others around. She didn't want to have to say goodbye to them too. She stopped Beauty and gave a low morning dove cry and waited.

I just glared at Bardon. A shovanist is what he was he could see it. Wanting women for only one thing. The last thing I was in for. I then heard something come echoeing through the forest. Somehow not sure how I knew who it was. "I'll be right back guys, Imatari is calling me" I smiled and bare chested jogged to the forest still barefoot. I got into the forest and stepped behind a tree and then darted off a little deeper where Mika was. "wow, what a beauty!" I smiled

She still wasn't amused, "Just watch yourself next time." she hated people treating girls differently, it had come up so much, her being a swordmaster apprentice. Everyone thought she should be inside, cleaning or cooking.

Mika smiled and dismounted. "Isn't he?" she gently stroked the black stallion. "And so gentle." Her eyes lingered over his well muscled torso. She quickly averted them and then looked back into his eyes. "I uh..was gonna head out. I..I left a note for the others in Cahoon but I thought I would come by on my way out so..." she was about to say you but instead said "everyone wouldn't worry..."

Bardon, still wide eyed, looked at Danielle.
He had a look on his face that said, 'What did I say?'
"I didn't mean it literally. I was only kidding, like all men do." He took the piece of straw he was chewing and tossed it on the ground.
He looked at Danielle, after what she had just said.
"Well what the hell?! Like I just said, I was only kidding!" He threw his hands in the air.

"well the horse too yes" I joked and pet his neck. "He really is a graceful creature, amazing" I said watching as he watched me and his ears twitched with every noise. "Oh ok, thank you for coming and saying bye, I really appreciate it." I was starting to wonder if she had feelings for me after all. I neglected the opinion and moved on, again. "Well do you know when you are going to be back?" I asked softly almost in a whisper so no one would know we met there.

Mika blushed slightly and looked down. "hmm? Oh in a few weeks. Once I find the herd I want to work on gentling them out there. I want them to be used to me so I can come find them again and they won't be spooked." She said softly. "Well I suppose I should be going.." she bit her bottom lip and suddenly stepped forward and gave Jarlon a gentle hug. She smiled and stepped back. "Watch out for Cahoon for me? Aaden has so much to learn..." she said softly "And...keep and eye on Sloan...they won't give up...trust me..." she said quietly.

I smiled as she stepped forward and hugged me. I wraped my bare arms around her and returned the gentle hug. "I will sneak over and check on them but i'm sure aaden will do a great job, although he does seem a little immature" I said shyly "Well please ride careful. Here will you take this with you. It was given to me by Ilaturi, it is a good luck charm. I reached behind my head and removed the necklace with the green feather charm on it. I offered to put it on her.

Mika smiled. She knew his reservations about Aaden. Sometimes she wondered if that was why she had gotten attracted to Aaden...was it love? or merely wanting to help him settle into his position? She didn't know anymore. She nodded when he said to ride carefully. "I will" she smiled. Her eyes widened slightly at his offer. "but..but it's yours..I couldn't take..." she trailed off. She wanted to accept his gift..but she was unsure.

"No please, I want you to have it, you can give it back when you get back...how's that. That way you have something to remember me by" I grinned and blushed all at one. Why did I say that? I asked myself. She turned and I moved her hair to the side and then tied the necklace in place. "Sorry if it stinks of sweat that leather really soaks it in" I laughed

Mika smiled "Fair enough" She slowly turned and waited as he gently moved her hair to the side and secured the necklace. She smiled slightly at how gentle his hands were. She turned back and smiled. "Thank you..and I don't mind" she laughed slightly.

The hair on the nape of her neck looked tantelizing as her hair fell back over it the wind blew through her hair and it filled my nose. I closed my eyes and looked away as she turned around. I opened my eyes and looked at her again, for the last time for a while I was sure. "Ride sa...I'm sorry I already said that like 4 times" I stuttered

Mika smiled again. She had an urge to hug him again but she held back. "I will" and with that she turned again and lightly swung up onto Beauty. She gave him a cue and he did a prance in place for her. She smiled and looked back at Jarlon "See you in a few weeks" she winked and quickly turned Beauty. She urged him into a canter and swiftly cantered away. Her long black hair flowing behind her seemed to merge with Beauty's mane and tail. She hadn't wanted Jarlon to see the tears glistening in her eyes. If only he knew why she had been sent to Cahoon. She shook her head and concentrated on riding.


----------Range (Enchanted forest)-------->

I was stepping forward to give her another hug when she turned and leaped up on Beauty. I smiled as she winked and rode away. Something wasn't right though, her cheeks and nose had turned red. Was it a blush? possibly, but my sences picked up more. I watched as her hair intertangled with the horses mane and tail. "bye" I said alone and turned and headed back. ~Imatari?~ I whispered as she ran up beside me

"Hey guys...sorry couldn't find the little devil" I grinned

Bardon, still fumming about what Danielle and Jarlon had said before, only nodded.

"what's your problem?" I asked softly

He shook his head.
"Nothing." He crossed his arms, but not at Jarlon.
