Fields

I watched as she rode away with the broken and battered body,. With a sigh i turned to poor Beauty who was also watching them leave. He must have known that I wasn't going to hurt him for he didn't prance and dance as if he wanted to follow. "Come on boy let me take a look at that nasty gash shall we!" I turned and rubbed his nose gingerly and led him to the field by the warehouse.

I took a long rope from the warehouse and tied it to Beauty's halter and tied the other end low to the ground on a large tree trunk. He quickly began to graze while I went and got my doctoring materials. I sat it down 6 feet from Beauty and pulled out some water and a type of herbal liquid soap. "We need to clean this out boy" I gently rubbed his flank while he grazed. He threw his head back at me and lifted his foot as if too kick. "Hey now, just trying to help ya"

After some fighting with the horses leg he finally gave in. Every once in a while I would look around to see if Mika was walking up. No matter what I thought when we first met she was very stealthy. But no one came. I began to get worried. "Mika" I said outloud

Arya walked up to Jarlon.
"Hi" she said softly.

For a swift moment I thought it was Mika. I turned around and saw Arya standing there "Oh....hey arya....what's going on?" I asked half minded

Arya looked at her feet,
"Bardon came back from the trip. Sloan is... dead."
She felt tears in her eyes and quickly blinked to not start crying.

"Sloan. WHAT?" I asked as my heart sank....that made two. I frowned "What happened? Where are they?" I looked at her and then Beauty

Arya grabbed his arm.
"They are in Rhea's house. But Jarlon, don't go there right now. I think it would be better to talk to Bardon a bit later" she said softly.

"I can't go anywhere anyway. I'm watching over Beauty till Mika gets back. I will find him later though." I bent my head

Arya bit her lip and turned her eyes away.
"Umm and Jarlon, I'm leaving."
Her voice was perfectly calm.

"Leaving?" I asked placin gmy hands on her arms "What do you mean leaving?"

Arya smiled a bit.
"By leaving I mean leaving. I'll be 20 years old in 10 days. Once I'm 20, I can get money my uncle left me by his will. It is not much, but it will help to run this village.
Besides, he promised my hand to one rich dealer's son. Awful mistake. I have to clear up that little problem aswell, cause I have no intention to come his wife" she smirked a bit.

"Will you be coming back?" I asked confused "why would your father do that?"

"My uncle" Arya corrected.
"He is greedy man. He has kind heart, but he cares too much about money. He got cheated. Ofcourse this dealer's son was very polite with him, but he wasn't half as nice to me. Hmph, I don't like this type of guys." she smiled a bit.

"Ofcourse I'll come back. If I can." her eyes got sad.

"well i don't blame you....i'm sorry to hear that that's just awful. When will you be back?"

"I do not know" she said sadly.

Not knowing what else to say I gave her a hug "ride careful then arya"

Arya smiled and hugged him strongly back.
'When I will see him again' she thought.
"You know me. I'm safety itself" she joked.
She smiled again to him and started to head back, but then suddenly she turned around, ran to Jarlon and kissed his cheek.
"You too be careful" she said softly and blushed, turned around and walked back to Rhea's house.

"Ya that's what I'm worried about" I chuckled softley. I watched as she walked away. suddenly she ran back to me and kissed my cheek. Surprised I watched her go again and rubbed my cheek. Oh how confusinglife was.

Arya glanced back to Jarlon and smiled at his expression. Then she turned over the corner and couldn't see Jarlon any more.

After Arya left I got concerned. I turned and looked at beatuy who was grazing happily. "I should go make sure everything is ok with Mika" I sighed and made my way to cahoon.

Bardon jogged out to the fields, no shirt on, and looked around. Jarlon was nowhere. He sighed and hung his head, deciding to go and see if Ty was home and visit her.

Bardon jogged out to the fields shirtless again. The hot summer day was a good day to be running. Tunani kept up a nice long stride beside him.
When he spotted a tree, he stopped and fell down, leaning his head against the tree. A soft, cool breeze ruffled his hair and Tunani's mane.
