Sefiroso smiled as he sat down next to her "beautiful day isn't it? it is kind of peaceful." he said as lux ran over and lay on Shaira's lap

Shaira smiled and gently stroke beautiful white fox.
"Hm yep... but you wait until the pow-wow starts" she winked at him.

Sefiroso smiled "now whats gonna happen at the pow wow?" he said laughing "I hope nothing too eventful eh?"

Kuruk rode up on Trigger as the feathers dangled and the single peace of string fed through his mouth danced in his mouth. "Hey" He smiled at the two as his Brod shoulders flexed trying to hold Trigger still.

"Hello Kuruk. How are today? (Shaira wont be on for 3 hours)" he asked smiling back

"Hey you" she said with a smile and looked up at him. "Ready for pow-wow?"

"ready?" he laughed "Extatic and beyond ready. I am actually looking for Mika to see if she's ready to start this "you two ready to learn how to dance a true Native dance?" he asked with a smile looking between the two but stopping at Shaira.

"could be fun. as long as nothing goes wrong, and i doubt it will." he said smiling "So what time will this start?"

Shaira laughed.
"Ready?! I can't wait" she smiled at him.

Kuruk looked back at Sefiroso "As soon as we get everyone gathered. Samba is waiting at the water to start the fire" he smirked back at Shaira "really!"

"What did you think then?" Shaira said with a sweet wink.

--------------outside the Cahoon buildings

Shaira stopped in front of Kuruk's house and looked around - village was quiet, nothing moved, nobody was around. She wasn't sure if she was right, but she thought for a moment she could hear voices from one of the houses. She shrugged and stepped forward, putting her ear against the door. Silence. Quietly Shaira opened the door and peeked in.
"Kuruk?" she whispered softly, but there was no answer. She sighed, a bit disappointed, and walked to her room. There she unfolded her cloak and laid down on the floor. Everything was so silent, even birds weren't singing yet. Shaira rolled over her back and stared at the ceiling, trying to figure out her feelings and thoughts. Everything was so confusing... there were happy, kind and friendly people around her, and yet she felt alone. 'Why?' she asked the ceiling, almost expecting it to answer. But ceilings (usually) don't speak, and nobody answered her.
With a sigh Shaira closed her eyes and soon drifted off to sleep.
