Outside Buildings

Tunani watched them go over to Jarlon to moarn. He stood up and walked over to Tyler, sliding his head under her arm, knowing he was one of her favorite animals here.

(tylers his fave animal?! Huh?!)

Mika sniffed and nodded and Imatari. ~Your right~ she said softly. She gently petted Imi and stood up again. She wiped the tears out of her eyes. There would be time for that later. She sniffed and walked over to Tyler. "Tyler.."she said gently "I need you to help me take the beef down to the cellar in the old barn. It will be kept cool there till we can dry it" she said her eyes showing a new determination.

Bardon came back to the outside buildings to find the crying girls, Imatari, Tunani, and Kuruk. He didn't know what to do, so he stood there.

She heard Mika and Tyler and...crying? She couldn't tell exactly but when she was near them, she saw that they were crying and... Jarlon wasn't there. "What... what happened?" she asked but she could put it all together. She didn't want to believe it though, and Mika would confirm it.

Bardon turned when he heard Danielle. He didn't know what to say or what to do. He didn't want to hurt anyone. He wanted to earn everyone's trust back, but now wasn't the time.

"Yes Ma'ma" She said obediently.

Mika looked over with a tear stained face. "Danielle" she said gently. She motioned that they walk a little bit away. "Danielle, we ran into General Johnson out on the range. Dani...Jarlon is dead" she said sadly.

Mika looked back at Tyler "Thank you" she gave her a very sad smile

Imatari looked up and laid her head back down.

"Jarlon...he..." her whole body went stiff, her eyes wide. "He's... dead?" she whispered. She took a couple of steps back, her mind whirling. ~Danielle just-~ but she had already jetted off faster then she'd ever gone before. Before she even got to the forest she could feel the tears streaming off her face and blowing away in the wind as she ran.

"Danielle wait" Mika weakly called after her. But she sighed and walked back to the group. There was nothing she could do. Danielle had to mourn in her own way. Everyone got the meat into the cellar and finally looked at each other again. Mika sighed. "Ok..lets do this" she said quietly. She turned Beauty around who had been patiently waiting and started leading the procession back out of town. Towards a little overlook in the hills above the towns. The wind blew over it and you could see the sunrise and sunset from it. Jarlon would have loved it if he had known about it.

Bardon was surprised at her reaction, knowing what to do.
~Stay here incase they need you.~ He told Tunani and took off for Danielle, hoping she would talk.

Rhea was shaking as she ran into the village,
"What's happened? What's wrong?" Rhea kept hissing to herself as she ran, her hands shook and in the background she heard Moans from Zaric to slow down.

Malek had seen Rhea run for the buildings and followed her. Once there, he came up behind her panting, Toboe not doing so good.
"Rhea...what's...wrong?" He asked through breaths, his hands on his knees. Toboe laid down on his side and panted.
~I'm getting too old for this, boy~ He groaned.

imatari walked along the tree line with her head hung low and then sadly looked at Rhea and Malek. Her heart ached for her master, she was all alone now, she had been with hin since she was a cub.

Rhea spun aroud wildly, her eyes filled with tears,
"Somethings happened!" Rhea blurted out shaking violently, "I don't know what but it's horrible!"

Malek stood up and walked calmly to her, putting both hands on her shoulds.
"Rhea, stop shaking. Let's go and find out what happened. I don't know where we will go...." He trailed off, still thinking.
'Where?' he asked in his head.

Whisper came wandering out from the shadows. She looked sadly at Rhea and Malek. She looked at both spirit animals. She bowed her head ~Please tell your masters that a tragedy has happened. Your fine leader has been killed in battle~ She said quietly

Zaric shook his head fro a moment,
~No...~ Zaric muttered and looked up at Rhea worriedly,
~What does she say?~ Rhea asked nervously, Zaric hesitated for a long while before looking at the ground and replying,
~Jarlon has been killed in Battle~ Rhea stopped shaking suddenly and froze.

imatari lifted her head up a bit as she sat down beside a tree and watched the others for a moment. She wanted to say good bye still

Whisper looked at her with sorrowful eyes. ~I'm sorry to be the one to tell you. Would you like to see his grave?~ She asked gently

Rhea couldn't breath,
'No,' Rhea said in her mind, 'No, that can't right,'
Rhea looked at whispere again as Zaric translated and Rhea nodded slowly,
"Yes," Rhea said slowly, not believing what had happened.
