Mal heard something jump through a window, and opened one eye just in time to see Molly's black tail go through the window.
He sighed and rolled onto his back, looking at the ceiling, thinking about how sad Arya looked when he had shut the door the previous night.
'I don't want to go through the same pain. Maybe it's best we leave it at that.' He sat up and saw Elsa was still asleep. He felt like going for a morning run just outside of his little cottage.
He left a note for Elsa for when she wakes up saying;
Went for a morning run. If you need anything, you'll find me on the edge of the forest straight across from the door.
He set it on the stool next to her and walked outside, smelling the fresh spring air. He took off, leaving Tsume to rest inside.

After a little while longer Elsa finally awoke. She yawned and stretched then looked around. The small cabin was empty. She looked over and noticed a note. Reading it she nodded and walked out. Tilting her head side to side to stretch she walked out towards the forest. The sun glinting off an object in the dirt caught her eye...a ring. She gasped slightly and quickly picked it up and put it in her pocket next to the necklace. She then walked on trying to find Malak.
