Fields

He growled.
"If he gets pissed off at me, it's his own fault. I am only defending my right here." He turned sharply and walked off, but stopped short. He heaved a sigh.
"Have you met....." He gulped. "Tyler? From Cahoon?"

Rhea was furious as he strode away but when he stopped and turned back Rhea's face only showed confusion.
"Uhh...No," Rhea said, "Why...?"

He closed his eyes and took in a deep breathe through his nose. He turned to look at her.
"I had only just met her, and I have only been here 3 days, and she already tried something on me....." He looked down.
"That's why Jarlon is really pissed off at me right now." He said through clenched teeth.

"Oh," Rhea whispered, and then laughed nervously, "I don't really know what to say,"

He half smiled and half chuckled.
"Yeah, I know. It's ok." He didn't really know what else to say.
"Jarlon and Danielle both think I use women for one purpose. Just because Tyler tried something!" He shook his head and the half smiled dissapeared. He stared at the ground.

Rhea looked at Bradon questioningly, she wouldn't have minded hearing Danielle and Jarlon's side of the story too.
"Well still, maybe it's beeter to wait for then to get over it or try to reasolve it rather then starting fights," Rhea said

Bardon sighed hard, breathing out of his nose.
"Why...never mind. I'm just gonna stop there." He said flattly.
He looked at her with kindness in his eyes, but it somehow wouldn't show on his face.
"I needed someone to talk to about this....." He said gently.
"Thanks..." He mumbled.

"Hey," Rhea said, "Sure Jarlon may not understand, and you may think I dont understand but Jarl's been through alot, it's best not to get himworked up...Thats all i'm saying," Rhea said,
"I'm not accusing you of anything," Rhea frowned

"Alot." He slapped his hands to his sides.
"And I haven't been either?" He decided to drop the conversation.
"I'm sorry to get you involved. This wasn't intended. Any of it." He said.
~Why couldn't you have just dropped it earlier with Jarlon?~
~Cause I didn't like the fact my own leader was accusing me of something I have never done.~

Rhea frowned angrily that he kept snapping at her,
"Look, I was trying to be nice and both Jarlon and I have warned you but I'm not in the mood for this," Rhea snapped back, not accepting his apology,
"I don't like that while I was being nice to you, you were just shouting at me," Rhea hissed, glaring at him icily.

"And I try to apologize for what I have done, but just like everyone else, you ignore it." He turned sharply and walked to the tree he sat under earlier, and grabbed the branch and jumped into it. He sat on the low branch and leaned his head back, hard, making a loud *THUD!* sound.

Rhea watched as he walked away but she just followed and stood under the tree looking up.
"You want to know why I ignored your apology!" Rhea said, still furious but didn't show it, "It's because while I was being nice you continued to snap, so no, didn't acept your apology because you were being too stubborn and wouldn't give up,"
Rhea waited for a second to see how he would reply, hoping he would apologize again and look as if he actually meant it.

He closed his eyes as he listened, and then he looked down at her brown eyes. His face was expresionless. He sighed.
"I am truely sorry for what I have done. I didn't mean to snap at you...it's just...Jarlon was really pissing me off and...I didn't mean to take it out on you. Please, forgive me." He apologized to her, looking down at her face.

Rhea closed her eyes and breathed in slowly,
"I accept," Rhea smiled sitting on the branch next to him, "I didn't mean to snap either, seeing Jarlon that mad kinda unsettled me," Rhea laughed.

He half smiled and chuckled.
"Yeah, I understand." He relaxed from sitting on the balls on his feet to letting his legs hang from the branch.
"It was a freak accident..."

Rhea smiled and swung her feet, watching as her shoes went flying.
"So where did you come from?" Rhea asked

He was surprised at her question.
"Well...I come from a small town called Burden. Nothing exciting there. It was partially destroyed by a fire....but my parents sent me away here because...." He felt the pain and sadness return. He blinked once and looked at his hands.
"Nothing."

Rhea frowned, instantly regretting asking the question,
"I'm sorry," Was all Rhea could say

He looked over at her and smiled.
"It's alright." He put his arm around her shoulder and squeezed it, and then letting his arm drop.

Rhea coughed, then smiled uncomfortably, fidgitting slightly.

Bardon frowned a little bit and looked down at the ground.
"I seem to make all of them.....uncomfortable...." He whispered, very quietly.
He thought about in the library, then closed his eyes shut, feeling uncomfortable with the thought himself.

"Oh no, it's not you," Rhea said slowly, "it was Jarlon's comment about if you touched another girl," Rhea lied and smiled at him.

He tried to repress that thought.
"I don't care what he says. It wasn't like I tried doing something to Tyler....and it's not like I would do anything to you." He looked at her with some sadness on his face.
"Why does he think I will do something to any girl in this village? Or even in Cahoon?"

Rhea laughed humourlessly, "Well you did move quickly,"

"She did." He said, his voice almost flat.
"I wasn't going to do anything. I was going to tell her that I admire her, but then she moved fast......"
