Fields

Danielle watched as Mika beat Bardon to next week but she didn't do anything, she'd made her point and now it was Mika's turn. She saw Rhea ignite a flame and was a little surprise, she was always so nice and calm.

He breathed a sigh of relief as Mika let her hand go to normal, and then he stiffened up as she whispered in his ear, and then backed off. He left his head fall back and he felt his nose and then looked at his fingers.
More blood.
He sat up in a flash and looked at them with a glare.
"Damn you guys! Making me bleed is fun to watch, isn't it?!" He growled as he wiped his nose, stopping the blood.

Rhea glared at Bardon and snapped her fingers letting the flaming go out.
"Bardon, You truely make no sense," Rhea sighed, "We go and make our point very clear nd you continue to want to fight,"

Mika's eyes softened just a bit. She took out her knife and cut off a bit of his shirt tail. She put the material in his hand and his hand on his nose. "No..but you have to understand..all of us have been hurt by men. We won't be victims again." she said icily. At that she stood up again. She was tempted to just walk off. But no matter what a pig he had been the humane side of her won out. She turned back to him and offered her hand. He looked warily at it. "I only offer it once" she said with a growl.

He rolled his eyes and looked at Rhea.
"I-want-all-of-this-to-end." He said very slowly and clearly, clenching his teeth.
He looked at Mika and sighed, accepting her hand up. He let go as soon as he was up, looking at all three girls glaring at him.
"I feel so special around here...." He mumbled.

Mika smiled slightly "Good. Now lets get you back" she said quietly "Can you walk? Where is your house?" she asked

Rhea sighed and looked away, rolling her eyes,
'Even now, he doesn't seem to understand when to stop fighting,' Rhea thought to herself angrily. Rhea just couldn't understand him.

"I can walk fine." He muttered through teeth.
He shook his head.
"Jarlon told me no riding for ahwile with this arm." He said sighing.
"Ardeo is in the pasture with Metta and the others."

Danielle walked over to Rhea, "What an idiot." she muttered, crossing her arms over her chest.

Bardon looked over at Danielle and glared with a look that said, 'Leave me be.'

Mika smiled slightly "I said house..not horse...now where do you sleep?" she asked again

Rhea heard Danielle's comment and smiled,
"I'll say, He just doesn't quit...Bet ya he'll be killed by one of us soon," Rhea said nudging Danielle's arm with her elbow and laughed.

(after Mika gets him home.)

Mika walked slowly back to the girls. "You guys ok?" she asked softly

"Im fine, Bardon just gets on my nerves though, His attitude is way out of line at times," Rhea grumbled and then turned to dani to wait for her to reply to both of them.

Danielle broke into the first friendly smile that day, "He won't have to wait long." she answered, and saw Mika come back, "I'm fine, thanks." she said, "That was quite a display, Mika. "

Mika smiled "Good..if he ever hurts one of you and you don't happen to kill him tell me or Jarlon ok?" She looked over at Danielle "Ah...ya that is another side of me" she said softly as she scratched the back of her neck nervously. "It doesn't normally come out" she chuckled slightly.

Rhea chuckled, "It was certainly impressive," Rhea laughed, "I don't think he'll speak to us again," Rhea smiled,

"Not that I'd mind," Rhea muttered "Pig,"

Mika looked up at Rhea's comment "thanks...well he will have to..and we will have to speak with him..." she looked at both of them. "One because you are all in the same village and will have to talk with him. I am sure Jarlon doesn't expect it to be friendly but I know if it was my village I would expect it to be hospitable. You don't have to forgive him..but time must go on" she sighed slightly "And because...this winter we may have to merge for a time till spring. So that both villages can survive. Just something to think about. It will be a long winter all in that 2 story cottage Jarlon found" she said with a raised eyebrow. "We are prepared to keep enemies separated at sword point if necessary but it would be better if we didn't have to" she said looking them both in the eyes.

"I'll try not to lop his miserable head off." she replied, rolling her eyes a little, not particularly interested in being in the same house as Bardon.

Mika smiled "Good..think of it this way..he doesn't deserve a quick death" she smiled again

"Hmm, guess not." she replied and smiled back at her, "Didn't think of it that way."

Mika grinned did her fingers in a scissor motion "snip snip would be much more....effective" she chuckled

She gave a small laugh, "Haha, probably more painful too."

Rhea laughed, "Most definatley,"

Mika smiled "You betcha, so if you have cut anything...aim lower" Mika chuckled "it's where his brains are right now anyway" she muttered She patted them both on the shoulder. "I better get back to the cattle and horses. You are always welcome over in Cahoon, don't be strangers" she said softly. With that she smiled and quickly hopped onto Koda and spinned her around. Koda's tail softly flowing behind the buckskin horse. Mika laughed before urging Koda into a canter back to Cahoon. Soon it was a gallop as the wind whipped through her hair.
