"Haha I suppose it was." he laughed as well "do you miss home?"

Mika considered his question "Sometimes..." she said quietly "but not enough to get on a ship and go back. No one is getting me on one of those death traps" she said with some fear in voice. She snuggled closer "besides all I love is here" she said quietly

"First off I wouldn't let you leave, Second...they say home is where the heart is" I smiled, "And home is right here in your arms"

Mika giggled and snuggled closer "How do you do that? You always make me smile, even when memories cloud over" she chuckled "Besides Norway is close enough, there is plains, there are hills, there are trees...wind rain...its the same" she smiled

"Snow, scary animals...the list goes on" He chuckled "What do you think of all the weddings happening?"

"Poisonous reptiles" she added to the list. She considered his question. She hoped there might be something else behind it. "hmm I think it is natural and a good thing. They are all very happy, I think everyone is settling into their lives here. Why do you ask?" she said softly

"I was just curious, but i spose you are right. I just feel that some of them moved into it way to quickly, they barely know each other" He sighed

"I guess" she said softly "but this is natural for the people here is it not? I mean...in my tribe courtships were either extremely long..or shockingly fast" she chuckled. "They seem to be about the middle here. Although Arya and Malek worry me a bit...but with Malek letting go of Rhea and Ronan marrying her...I haven't had the heart to say anything. And where is Danielle? I haven't seen her in weeks!" Mika said a bit frustrated at her co-leader

"Ya I understand where you are coming from, I've just been hurt in that aspect. Ya I don't know where she has been, I'm a little frustrated at the fact that she hasn't shown her face nore done any 'leadership' work"

"I know" Mika said softly and gently hugged him. She nodded "Planting season will be in a few months if I remember anything from last year. I'm not a farmer...I can't lead that part of this village" Mika said a little worried. "I don't have a clue about crops..."

"Ya farming was our life, so I hope to be able to help when the time comes, if everything goes well anyway" I smiled and brushed her hair out of her face.

"If everything goes well?" Mika asked quietly

"Well who knows how long this weather will stick around, and what else is going to happen" I thought back to the revenge

"Uh huh" she said quietly still a little confused "Saron what's wrong? Your acting like there is something your not telling me so I won't worry...but I'm worrying because you won't tell me" she said quietly and looked at him in the flickering firelight.

With a heavy sigh and a heavy heart I knew that I had to tell her "The revenge, both you and I know they will be back, if not for me for you, and if not for you for out little boy." I sighed heavily. But don't worry we will be either ready for them or be gone from here by the time they get here. I would rather be ready for them, for no matter where we go we will be found." I said holding her tight and kissing her head.

"Ah" she said quietly "I know...and you are right..they will never stop tracking us..we have to find how to take their power away..not just kill a few here and there. We have to strike at their heart. I think those books are the key...we know now how they started the answer of how to destroy them must be in there to..maybe something with the two amulets working together? The Vanahoonians were a very advanced culture...they weren't killed by the revenge..they were killed by disease..they had to have found a way to repel the revenge. But what...?" she trailed off

"I don't know" I replied "Have you ever tried connecting the two? Making it the ultimate power. If there was only one village there had to be a reason for it, there had to have been a mayor. Strong, carrying, courageous and smart enough to carry that kind of power."

"no we haven't.." she said quietly "I guess I would want to have someone research it a little more before we connected the two..who knows what they could do...who knows what it could do to the person holding it" Mika said quietly. "I know the Mayor was Athara and Chaya's father..." she offered

"Yes, that would probably be a good idea. Chaya and Athara?" I asked confused "Maybe they would be the ones to speak to....but....wasn't that a long time ago?"

"Yes" Mika chuckled "They are both close to a hundred years old. But from looking at them you wouldn't think they are a day over 25" she laughed "Now I wish I could look like that when I am a hundred" she sighed

"wow" Escaped my lips "You will, because more than likely at 100 we'll be up above where we'll look anything we want" I smiled "But in my eyes you will always be as beautiful as you are now"

Mika giggled "True, and I thank you for that" she smiled at his compliment. She sighed and laid her head back down on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. She gently hugged him and listened quietly to the fire crackling. She felt as the baby was moving around, giving off an occasional kick to help himself move. A smiled played on her lips as she gently stroked her stomach. "hmm..I wonder if this fall there will be two more pregnant wives" she said thinking of Rhea and Arya. "Think they will wait awhile? Or have kids right away?" Mika asked

"Well if i judge them by their hurried weddings i'd say you'll have pregnant women after tonight's honey moon and after the 'camping' trip" I chuckled as I ran my fingers through her hair

Mika had to laugh out loud and she almost hit him. "Well they are newlyweds, Ronan and Rhea I mean" she giggled "I hope Arya and Malek wait though.." she sighed "We'll see in about 3 months now won't we? Oh..Christmas is next week...we should all find a tree" she smiled

"A tree?" I asked "What are we going to do with a tree?"
