Mika nodded "Perhaps..there are several painters wandering it right now" Mika smiled

He grinned.
"That'd be beautiful to see." He looked down and realized he just noticed the puma.
"Well now, I am sorry I don't believe we have been introduced." He told the puma, stroking it's head.

Whisper looked up and shook her head. "That is Whisper" Mika smiled "And yours is?" she asked curiously.

"Good to meet you, Whisper." He motioned to his tiger.
"This is Leyla." She bowed her head respectivly to the puma.

"Good to meet you Leyla" Mika smiled Whisper bowed her head slightly but still tried to keep it higher than Leyla's. "You'll have to forgive her..she takes this leader's spirit animal thing very seriously" Mika laughed. "In reality at the end of next year Cahoon will be having elections for the next leader." Mika smiled slightly.

He laughed at Whisper.
"I see." Then he looked at her a bit surprised.
"How come? Aren't you going to stay leader for as long as possible?" He asked, curiously.

Mika shook her head. "No, the leaders thought it better to let the people choose thier leader. As it has been explained to me..this first election the people may choose the same leader...but after another two years it must be a new leader. But I am not sure I will even put my name in. While being a leader is...almost second nature to me...it is very tiring" Mika said softly

He nodded as she explained.
"I bet. Probably the most tiring job around here."

"Probably, settling down...living in peace" sounds awfully nice" Mika nodded and started searching the shelves with her eyes.

"If I were leader, I'd probably just tell everyone to leave me alone for awhile." He chuckled, thinking about if he was leader.

Mika laughed "Not possible, the only way is to disappear in the wilds for a few days" she smiled. "Believe me..I have tried"

He laughed.
"Yeah I'd run away too if I had people pestering me left and right." He shook his head, smiling.

Mika nodded and smiled. "So you looking for a particulate book?" Mika asked

"Yeah actually I am. I am looking for...oohh what was it..." He put his head down and thought for a second.
"Well, a book mostly on natural healing for animals and humans. I am really into that stuff after my grandfather taught me."

"Oh..um that would probably be in Cahoon's library" Mika said nodding.

"Ah probably." He laughed slightly

Mika smiled "I can show you the library there when I go over to start packing up the rest of Cahoon's residents to bring them over her" she offered.

He smiled to her.
"That'd be wonderful. Thank you."

"Your welcome" Mika smiled "this way" she motioned and led the way to the warehouse to get the horses and then head to Cahoon.

Mika put packs on both horses and then started walking towards Cahoon with Argon following. "So, how much natural medicine do you know?" she asked

He accepted a horse from her after he had followed her.
"I know alot acctually. Surprising for a man my age. I know about as much from simple cuts to tough bone breaks." He grinned, stroking the horse.

Mika nodded as they walked and talked. "I have some knowledge..but mostly what herbs are good for what..not how to actually apply them. I collected a whole bunch of herbs a few days ago. I'll be bringing them to Vandecar, you can help me sort through them if you wish" she smiled slightly.

Laoshi silently led them into the heart of the town. Walking almost solemnly up the library steps she passed two lion statues and smiled slightly as she walked up to the doors. She nodded to go ahead and open them. As they walked in lamps seemed to light spontaneously. ~You can thank the ancient ones for that, all we had to refill the oil in the lamps and we discovered this. Automatic lights~ she smirked and with a whisk of her tail motioned them to continue. They walked into a grand library with bookshelves filling it almost to the brim. All the shelves filled with books about farming and plants and seasons. Among the shelves there was also books on special powers and their use in connection with farming. ~Vandacar is a farming village~ Laoshi explained. ~Cahoon, is a ranching one. They are basically merged now but their purposes remain the same. There is a second library in Cahoon like this one with all the ranching knowledge known to the ancients.~

(Imagine a library like in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in Venice )

Laoshi thought for a moment. ~I am afraid I have not..although I am sure you will find reference to such things in the Library. There is a dragon here, you should know. But he is a good dragon. He protects the villages. His name is Samba. Although..~ she thought for a moment ~Actually he is with Saron who is on a...trip at the moment with his fiance and child. They won't be back for awhile, but when he does come back. Do not fear him~ she reassured them.

~I won't fear him but I can't say the same for my elf unfortunately, thank you by the way this will do nicely for her to study magic and swordsmanship as well as types of swords to get. I will forever remember your kindness to me and Furanshia,~ she said with a smile. With that she brought a book of spells to her elf who was playing a beautiful and melodic tune with her golden flute. ~I shall make sure to tell her how much you've helped us we know the history of the two places and intend to unite them in harmony as well as finally getting rid of the shadow riders to, my elf made that decision 3 years ago,~ She replied having a flashback.

Laoshi nodded and listened. ~Is that so?~ she asked with a smile ~And how do you intend to do such?~ she asked with an amused smirk. It was not that she didn't like this pair..simply that she was amused by their claims. Even the great King Troy and his wife Anij had not been able to vanquish the Shadows.
