Jarlon's home

He chuckled.
"Yeah sure is." He looked up at the trees, squinting a little bit. He sighed and looked down.
"I just walked around a bit, depressed sorta...." He went pale when he said the last part.
"Yeah well...." He shifted, uneasy.
"Just...missing someone...." He heaved a long sigh.

She bent on leg and leaned her arm on it, "Sooner or later, you're going to have to get over her if she doesn't accept, you can't keep chasing after her." she told him, tossing a stray twig into the fire.

"I know." He said, gently kicking a small rock towards the fire pit.
"I just can't get my mind off of her. She's the only thing that's on my mind...." He looked down, watching a bug crawl over his shoe.
"What's going on with you and Jarlon?" He asked, curiously, without looking up.

"What do you mean?" she asked, her face innocent, she wasn't about to tell Bardon anything, and it wasn't difficult to act as if nothing had happened. She shifted after a while, bending both knees up, her ankles crossed, her arms wrapped around her knees.

"Well....they way you two were close together...and the way you were looking at eachother......" He explained, scratching the back of his head.
"Looks like something is going on between you two." He half grinned, looking sideways at her.

"We were talking, sheesh. " she said, kicking him, "why do you care anyway? Have you been spying on us?" she asked, raising an eyebrow, a smirk on her face.

"Hey!" He said, trying to jump away from her kick, but wasn't succseful. He got kicked anyways.
"No I'm not spying on you guys!"
'Unlike you guys spying on me.'
"Just curious." He said, smiling and putting his head on his hand like a little kid.

"You better not have been." she said simply, a small hint of a threat in her voice. She turned back to the fire, it was slowly dying but would still last for a while yet.

"Hey, I never said I was." He said calmly with a coolness to his voice. He looked at the fire too and bit his lip a bit.
"Hey...um...I was wondering...if...well it seems we are getting along now....I was wondering if we could be friends now, not enemies." He said, looking sideways, smiling.

She thought about it for a few seconds, "I'll consider it..." she said after a while, he was still ignorant but he was getting there. "Why the sudden interest in being friends with me?"

"I don't know we just seem to be getting along fine and...yeah." He stood up for a second and looked around.
"Hey um...I am gonna go take a walk. I am starting to get bad cramps now." He laughed.
"Just let me know your answer." He smiled and her and turned, walking towards the fields, but didn't know where his feet were taking him.

Bardon trugded up to Jarlon's house with him and Imatari, sitting down on the steps.

He walked to the stairs and from there threw a fire ball over Bardon's head at the fire pit as it leaped to life. He walked up the stairs and into the house before coming out with a platter of meat. Again he walked past Bardon without a word. He dropped a steak infront of Imatari and one in front of Tunani. The other two went onto the make shift grill. He sat down on his wooden chair and watched the fire dance.

Rhea wandered into Vandercar, Passing Jarlon's house, she saw the fire pit dancing freely and Rhea smiled, Her smiled dissappeared when she saw Bardon.
"Told ya I'd be back," Rhea called to Jarlon and paused for a second.

Bardon stayed sitting on the steps, putting his head on his hand, watching Jarlon.
Tunani munched on his steak and looked at Imatari, licking his lips.
Bardon looked at his reflection in the bird bath.
'What a sad reflection!' He thought and sighed, sitting back down.

Imatari looked over at Tunani and over exagerated licking her lips.
Jarlong heard a voice and turned seeing Rhea standing there "Hey, hungry?" He asked

"Uhh," RHea paused and looked at Bardon, "Yeah, 3 pieces of Candy isn't too filling," Rhea smiled and began to ascend the stairs.

"No I spose not, rot your teeth too" he smiled and got up and walked back into the house for another slab of meat. He came out and slapped it beside the others before sitting back down.

Rhea sat down next to Jarlon and the Fire,
"I'm sure that 3 pieces of Candy in your whole life cant do much damage to your teeth," Rhea laughed

Bardon sighed, flexing his hands, realizing that he could move his right hand without wincing. He quietly slipped it out of the sling, keeping it in a bent postion, and flexed his hand. He carefully unbent and bent his arm, gritting his teeth everytime it hurt.
'Hurts but doesn't at the same time...' he thought.
'I love Tyler so much....'

"Ok, maybe not, but what if" He laughed turning the steaks "medium rare? or well done?" he asked looking into her face as the diming light said it's good byes

"Well done," Rhea answered and smiled as he looked at her, "Whatever happened to that flower? Ya know, The one you stole from me when we were by that river in the forest?" Rhea asked

"well done it is" he said as he pushed the knife into the meat to check it's tenderness. "The flower?" he asked "oh right, set it free. It looked unhappy on my head, didn't do me near the justice it did you" he chuckled

Bardon grumbled and stood up, pacing. He knew he couldn't sneak past Jarlon. He sighed hard and looked around, putting both hands on his face. He would keep looking at his reflection, trying to see the reflection of him younger like before, but never saw it.
"Why did I do this..why...why?!" He grumbled under his breath.
"It's all my fault....if only..." He grabbed a small rock ad threw it, throwing it into bushes just beside Jarlon's house behind Jarlon and Rhea.

Rhea laughed, "Thanks," Rhea said and blushed looking over at Bardon who had been just spoken and then looked back.
