Stable

He ran his fingers along her head into her hair holding her tight. Trying to figure out how to ask her if she wanted to head back to the cottage and get some rest he looked around for thor. No where to be seen he gave off a whistle. Thor's head perked up from behind a bale and he came over panting as usual. Trevon asked Thor to ask telsa to ask D'Heiren if she was ready to go get some true rest.

~what do you mean, back to the cottage?,~ Tesla asked Thor, ~what cottage?~

Thor cocked his head and almost shrugged, but it just wasn't an ability he had. He turned his shepherd head towards Trevon ~What cottage...did you find one?~ he asked
Trevon shook his head.
~Guess we're staying here~ Thor chuckled. With that Trevon got up and look into the stalls and found an empty one. Most of the horses must be out to pasture. Thor drug the pack over and Trevon carried three pitch forks worth of straw into the stall. Using his hands he spread it out making a dip in the middle where they could sleep and keep them warm. He thought it might be more 'comfortable' for her to sleep alone, but he didn't want her to get cold, besides he wanted to keep her safe. Smiling he walked over to her and swiftly and smoothly scooped her up and carried her to the stall and gently set her down so she could hobble in while still holding his hand

D'Heiren watched curiously as Trevon spread straw in one of the empty stalls. ~Trevon thought you might like to sleep somewhere else,~ Tesla explained. D'Heiren nodded and smiled. Trevon came over and picked her up, and she half expected him to carry her all the way into the stall, but he set her down just outside, and she held onto his arm as she hobbled in. once they were inside, she gave him a hug, her green eyes speaking her thanks.

Trevon watched as she laid down and waited to see if she possibly wanted him to join her, but he didn't want to intrude. He sparkling eyes smiled to him. He returned a smile. Now that he had found her he wanted to speak again. All these years he never wanted to speak again, found it easier, he would never offend anyone or make anyone cry. He'd needed to sit and talk with Elijah, he'd know what to say. Thor squeezed between Trevon and the stall door frame and went and curled up next to the straw pile and yawned.

D'Heiren patted the straw next to her and gave Trevon a questioning look, as if to ask will you stay near me?

Tesla curled up next to D'Heiren's head and purred quietly.

Slowly Trevon closed his eyes as he nodded and stepped in while closing the stall door behind him. First he walked over to his pack and grabbed his cloak that he had put away from earlier. Stepping into the pile of straw he laid down beside her and pulled D'Heiren closer to him with his strong arm before covering himself and her up. He could feel her steady breathing.

happily, D'Hieren kissed Trevon's cheek, then rested her face against his neck. sleepily, she put her arm over his side, her fingers gripping the back of his shirt so that he couldnt get up without waking her. in a few moments, she was asleep.

Trevon's eyes widened and then narrowed to a happy smile as her lips met his cheek. He had been kissed by women many times before, but never did it give him this feeling, it was so different and kind. Her fingers gripped his shirt and he rested his head against hers and watched the dark as she fell asleep. He didn't want to go to sleep and find this moment only being a dream. He faught off the heavy eyelids most of the night. Morning was fast approaching, actually to the point where he could see the light on the horizon. The moon had gone to bed and the stars were fading. His eyes flickered and he was fast asleep before the sun rose.

Eli trotted in with a pup's grin plastered to his face.
~Yo trey!~ He said, nudging his friend with a paw.

Trevon felt a nudge on his side and turned to see Elijah in wolf form. His eyes slowly opened and he rolled over from where he was holding D'Heiren. Rubbing his face with his free hand he sleepily smiled and with one hand signed {What?}

Shaira smiled, looking at Eli waking up Trey. She slightly shook her head and led Amira to one of the empty stalls. She quickly unsaddled and groomed her. With a yawn she closed stall door.
"Well good morning there" she smiled tiredly.

Molly raised her head as the others came in and jumped up to go see everyone. Elsa yawned but curled up and went back to sleep. Molly bounded over and wagged her tail waiting for someone to say hi or give her a treat.

Thor heard the commotion of everyone coming in. He hopped up and wagged his tail and jumped over Elijah, his back feet pushing off of him. He looked around for the coon but saw Molly instead and barked

D'Heiren woke up when Trevon moved. she blinked sleepily and rubbed her eyes. Tesla was already gone. ~Tesla?,~ D'Heiren called, and the cat came to the edge of the hayloft with a fat brown mouse in her mouth.
~what?,~ she asked, sounding muffled.
~nothing, i was just wondering where you were. you could come down and be sociable if you were so inclined. there's a new girl and her dog here.~
~why dont you be sociable?~
~the girl is deaf and dogs dont understand me.~
~oh. fine...~ and Tesla jumped the whole distance, disdaining the ladder. she carried her breakfast over to where the new dog was. ~hi,~ she said, setting the mouse down between her front paws. ~i'm Tesla, what's your name?~

D'Heiren hugged Trevon. "Good morning," she said quietly.

Eli morphed and scrathed thor's ear.
"Ah, you should have seen it!" He said, excited.
"We totally beat the shit out of those 'vengers!" He said with a funny grin.

Athena Walked up to thor with a yawn.
She crawled onto his back, laying own and closing her eyes.

Trevon hugged her back quickly while still looking at Elijah. He turned his head and kissed her forehead.
pulling his other hand free he signed {I was there briefly, saw you had it all under control and figured I should come back here and make sure everything was safe here.} He said looking over at D'Heiren. {Do you have a minute?} He asked Elijah again, the sense of confusion was heard even through his hand motions.

a little thrill of happiness went down D'Heiren's spine when Trevon kissed her forehead. all of this, loving someone and having them love back, was entirely new to her, and she was liking each minute better and better. she looked up at his face, and noticed the confusion that was plainly visible. she reached up and lightly ran her fingers down his jawline. what's wrong? her eyes asked, searching deep into his for the answer.

Eli's eyes narrowed and he nodded.

Shaira smiled as she saw Trevon and D'Heiren together. They were perfect for each other.
I wish I would someday have someone.
With a yawn Shaira sat down in hay and leaned her head back. Her arm still slightly ached, but she rubbed it and pain faded a little. For a moment she wished Eli was closer to her. What a am I thinking? Shaira ran fingers through her hair, confused of her own feelings.

Trevon smiled at D'Heiren and shook his headNothing He thought. He looked back up at Eli and back at D'Heiren. He put one finger up as if to say One moment He got up and took Eli by the arm and walked back into the shadows where little light faded in. {She makes me want to talk elijah} He said simply searching his best friends eyes for advice

Eli didnt want to talk aloud so he signed.
{Try.} He encouraged.
They had been over this hundreds of times over the years, but maybe this time was different.

{But...} He hesitated and looked down at his feet as he leaned against a pillar from the barn. He knew that this was his weakness....they had argued and faught about it time and time again. "Ok" he said out loud. "I can do this" He said again. His vocal cords dancing in his throat.

Eli's eyes widened.
"You did it!"" He yelped.
"Your talking!"

D'Heiren sat patiently where Trevon had left her. she couldnt see where he and Eli had gone, but she trusted that Trevon would come back.
~commendable, considering that you only just found him,~ Tesla commented, beginning to eat her mouse.
~did you talk to that mouse first to make sure it wasnt a spirit animal?,~ D'Heiren asked, ~i think Shaira's spirit animal is a mouse...~
~no, but her mouse is silver. this one is brown.~
~WAS brown.~
~ok, yeah.~
D'Heiren rested her chin in her hand. it was hard for her to get comfortable without something to lean against, since she couldnt put any weight on her right foot. she looked up sharply when she heard Trevon speak. she was sure it was him; she'd heard him laugh and whisper, and the voice she heard matched what she thought he would sound like.
