Fields

Chaya smiled slightly at the protectiveness Jarlon felt toward Mika. She had watched them grow closer. She just hoped it wouldn't interfere with their objectivity towards their villages. "More or less?" she asked. She saw the confusion in his eyes. He would find out soon enough.

"well what is meant to happen happens, no matter what, I have learned that time and time again. But if I would have been there I might have gotten in the way and gotten killed as well." and never see Mika again I thought for a moment and then thought about how much i missed her and it had only been a couple of days. I looked back up at her and smiled.

"that is true, and then she would have lost both of the men in her life. She would have fallen apart." Chaya said softly

"Both men?" I looked at her confused "what do you mean by that? I'm just a fling to her I think."

"Yes both men.." Chaya looked up suprised. "A fling?" she chuckled "You do have much to learn" she sighed "Well I will let her teach it to you not I" she shook her head. "I am just a simple ancient but from what I have observed you are more than a fling" She smiled slightly and looked at the wheat more closely. She touched one stock and the wheat kernels doubled in size "The world is full of mysteries" she smiled

He watched her carefully. Confused by what she was saying. Then she touched the wheat and then he was really confused "Yes that it is" He said calmly. "Thank you" He whispered

Bardon glared back at Rhea but just watched as Ronan and her took off towards his shop, listening to bits and pieces of their conversation. He sighed once they were gone and plopped down into a small gathering of flowers. He laid back, watching the clouds and the birds.
'Why am I hated so much?' He asked himself.

Bardon realized he had fallen asleep under the sun and sat up, yawning.
"Wow I was out." He chuckled. He looked around.
'Where did Chaya come from? Never heard her come.' He questioned inside his head and shrugged, standing up.
'I want to visit Tyler, but Jarlon and Mika will have my head.' He bit his lip, thinking of where to go next.
He sighed.
"I dunno." He walked over to the fence and sat down, watching the fields bend and straighten in the wind.

Chaya smiled "be careful..she has a terrible temper, I would hate for you to ever feel the brunt of it" she said softly. At that she smiled once more and walked out among the remaining tall wheat, till she was hidden and then she became invisible. She looked back and saw his confused expression. He would learn in time, but would it be soon enough. She sighed and walked quietly back to the Cahoonian forests

jarlon just shook his head as she walked off. 'What was she talking about' he though confused and watched as she disappeared. With that he hit his knees and sat there for a moment. Angry about everything, not sure what was going on made him angry. Who did he have feelings for, who did he want to spend the rest of his life with?

Bardon slid down from the fence and turned, looking around. He saw Jarlon, but didn't want to ask him anything, afraid he'd get either yelled at or wacked. He sighed and looked towards the forest.
~Should we go back, or talk a nice, long walk?~ Tunani lifted his nose and smelled the air.
~Let's see if we can find something to do. Looks like Jarlon doesn't want to be bothered.~
~Yeah, he'll probably just follow me anyways.~ Bardon sighed and began walking, not sure where he was going.

Bardon and Tunani wandered the fields, acasionaly stopping to look around. The air was getting chillier and the sky was filling with clouds, but Bardon didn't care.
~Bardon please it is getting very cold out and I think snow will began to fall.~
~No, it's fine.~
Tunani looked at him concerned but kept walking.
Bardon stopped and fell to his knees suddenly, letting his hands fall onto the ground on the backside.
"I know this is for our own good, and I know I need to calm down and earn Mika's and Jarlon's trust back, but this is the hardest test I am going through...." His eyes filled up with tears, making them look like pools of water. No tears trickled over the sides of his eyes. He looked up to the sky.
"I am not crying for you, Tyler. I only cry because of what I have done and the mistakes I have made...." He fell to the ground and curled up in a ball like a little child.
Tunani walked over to thim and laid down next to him, keeping him warm.
~What is wrong with you, boy?~
~I don't know what to do anymore. I am....
Lost.~

Bardon sat up, shivering.
~Tunani, how long was I out?~
Tunani scuffled the ground.
~A day...~
~A day. Alright.~ He stood up and began walking, towards the warehouse to look for a warm blanket.

Arya didn't even intended to go to her house. She stopped Phoenix in the centre on one of Jarlon's fields.
Espero sniffed and pulled himself under Arya's cloak to not get wet.

~Hey!~ Arya smiled.
~Well I am sorry, but my fur is very beautiful and I do not want to make it wet~ Espero snapped.
~And you call yourself selfless, huh?~ Arya smirked and shook her head.

She stood there a few minutes. Then, suddenly she pulled out a sword
from her saddle bag. Phoenix fidgeted restlessly, but Arya pulled the
reins and Phoenix stood in his place. She looked at the sword. It had a
big emerald stone in it's haft and a silver vine carving in it's blade.
Arya bit her lip and put the sword back. She sat silently and watched
the falling snow, and suddenly felt so lonely. Tears soundlessly flowed
on her cheeks.
Then she turned Phoenix around and galloped away.

Arya walked til she reached an old tree she loved to sit under. All the
memories with that tree and jarlon hit her mind, so she had to lean her
back against the trunk.
She closed her eyes and tried to not sob but she just had to.

"Let go, LET GO" she cried out loud and sat down under the tree, leaning her head back.
"No.... Mika loves you, I loved you... i must let you go... let you go." she whispered.
Suddenly a little flame flashed out of the tree trunk next to her. It
moved on and turned out to be a flaming ornament. Arya shook her head
and erased the ornament.
"Dammit dammit dammit. Dammit."

She wounded her hands over her knees and swinged like a little child,
feeling so cold and lonely in the big world, world without Jarlon.

Arya blinked her eyes.
'Was I sleeping?' she asked herself. 'What was i thinking leaving all others there and running away like that. Really smart me.'
She stood up. Her face was emotionless but her eyes were sad. She was
not desperate, but deeply sad. So sad words couldn't describe it. But
she knew Mika felt the worse.

She was surprised herself she was perfectly calm. Slowly she started to walk back to others.

Bardon walked up looking around when he saw Arya walking back, tears streaming down her face. He jogged up to her and stopped her.
"Arya, are you ok?" He asked kindly.

Arya half smiled at him.

"Yes, I'm ok. You?"

Bardon half smiled.
"I don't know if I am ok. Everyone around here hates me. Even Tyler. Well, Mika doesn't seem to hate me anymore....." He trailed off, his smile fading. He looked down.
"I was just worried about you. I know how you loved Jarlon...." He told her looked up a little.

Arya looked elsewhere.
"You know?" she asked silently and looked back at him.

"And nobody who really knows you can't hate you, Bardon. Oh" she bit her lip hoping she didn't hurt him. "I mean...umm,.." she looked at her toes not sure what to say.

"It's so good to have a friend like you" she whispered, leaned forward and hugged him strongly.

He nodded.
"I heard you talking about him once..." He trailed off .
"I know what you mean. And it is good to be a friend to someone." He hugged her back.
"Are you sure you're ok?" He asked her gently.

Arya looked in his eyes and knew it was time to be honest.
"I'm not sure" she mumbled and looked at her toes again. Her dark red
hair fall over her face and she brushed it back, peeking up to see
Bardon's face.

He brushed her hair away and looked at her face.
"Everything will be fine. I promise." He told her.
'I want to, but I am not sure if it is right.....' he thought

Arya nodded and looked at him.
"I know." she smiled a bit. "Life goes on. It always has and so in the future."

Arya hugged him again but stepped quickly back. She wasn't sure if she thought of Bardon as a big brother or as a friend.
"Thanks you are there for me" she said with a little smile. "I'm kinda tired... umm.. I think I'll go and try to sleep a bit or something. Seeya tomorrow."
She walked away, leaving Bardon stand there.

Bardon hugged her back, hoping to get a chance to ask her something, but then she left. He sighed and decided to go and see if everyone was alright now at the pastures.
