Town Hall

"Your welcome" Ronan smiled and sat down next to her and watched the flames. "Hmm I guess we should be finding a tree here soon..for christmas" he explained

"Whats the tree for?" Rhea asked and then laughed, she didn't really like that she was the only one who didn't know what Christmas is. Zaric chuckled slightly from where he was sitting and looked up at Ronan.

Ronan smiled "Well see we find a tree..cut it down and bring it in..here I guess" he chuckled "then we find things to decorate it with..um popcorn...ribbon...dried flowers..anything really" he grinned "and then...on Christmas morning we come to the tree and there is presents underneath for everyone" he smiled "well the story is that St. Nicholas brings them but really they are from some of us to others and so forth"

"You decorate a tree with Popcorn?" Rhea laughed and then giggled when Ronan said the presents were really from others around the village.

Ronan chuckled "Ya.. you put it in strings and then wrap it around the tree. And then all the animals start eating it off!" he joked and leaned over and nibbled on her ear. "Those naughty animals" he grinned and then went back to his soup. "It's alot of fun, the tree idea comes from Germany actually..hey we should ask Saron or Rial next time we see them."

Rhea laughed, "Sure," Rhea said ,eating some of her stew.
Zaric put his head down slowly and feel asleep. Making quiet snoring noises and Rhea laughed again.

Ronan chuckled "So is there anything special that I should ah tell st. nick to pick up for you for christmas?" Ronan asked sweetly

Rhea laughed,
"Nothing in particular," Rhea smiled, "What about you?"

"hmm nope nothing cept my beautiful wife by my side" he grinned thinking about how by christmas they would be married.

Rhea smiled and what he said, "That's barely a Christmas Present, You get it 2 weeks early," Rhea laughed and ate some more of the stew.

"So" he laughed and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Rhea laughed and placed her bowl down before lying back and smiling at the ceiling.
"I can't believe out Wedding is approaching so fast," Rhea chuckled.

Ronan took another bite and smiled down at her "I know! I can't wait. Hopefully you and Mika and Malek can work on some things tomorrow"

"Hopefully...If I ever find either of them" Rhea sighed. "I may just be doing everything with Mika, she seems sligtly more alive," Rhea chuckled, "But I haven't seen Mal for a while now,"

"hmm well if I see him I'll snag him and send him to you luv" he smiled and set the bowl aside for zaric to come lick clean. Ronan shifted and laid down beside her. He laid on his side and gently played with her hair. "Whatcha thinking about?" he asked softly

Rhea continued to stare at the ceiling,
"Our future," Rhea replied simply and smiled at Ronan, "At the moment I think of nothing else... I never think of the future..." Rhea laughed.

Ronan smiled "Love does that..love brings hope" he said softly "sometimes it brings memories as well" he sighed slightly and tried not to think about his younger brother.

Rhea looked at Ronan briefly, "Memories?" Rhea asked confused, "It has not done that for me," Rhea said quietly.

"Good" he said quietly knowing her memories weren't that great "It's just..when ever I think about having a family I remember my little brother" he sighed and laid on his back "if I couldn't watch out for him..how am I...?" he trailed off and thought about kids of his own someday..their own...

Rhea rolled over and stroked his cheek slowly,
"What happened to him?" Rhea asked softly,

Ronan sighed slightly "Well you know I learned to drive the wagon at a young age...well..our wagon had come to a difficult hill..dad decided I needed to learn how to take the wagon down the hill. So everyone got out of the wagon but me...I started down the hill and out of nowhere Romel came running alongside calling that he wanted to ride in the seat with me. I was a little short with him..trying to concentrate on driving and all so I told him to get lost...that he couldn't ride with me..it was to dangerous...well he disappeared alright..but then the wagon slipped to the side just as he was slowing down...I.." he took a deep breath "I tried to stop it from slipping but I didn't realize he was still on that side of the wagon...apparently he was trying to get out of the way and slipped on mud spot..the wheels ran right..." he trailed off and stared at the ceiling. "He was only 11-12 years old..."

"I'm sorry," Rhea whispered to Ronan, surprised he had kept something like that to himself for so long. Rhea pulled Ronan into a hug and she cradled his head. Kissing the top of his head every so often.

Malek woke up on the couch with Tsume licking his face, covering him in puppy kisses.
"hey! Stop...Tsum...e!!" He fought the pup and fell off the couch laughing.

Ronan sighed as his eyes still glistened at the memory. He let her pull him into a hug and rested his head on her collar bone holding her close. "I..I just worry you know...will I be able to protect our children someday...my my father went to drinking after the accident...he was never the same." Ronan sighed but kept hugging her.

"Ronan..." Rhea whispered moving some strands of hair out of his face so that she could look in his eyes, "You will be a fantastic father,"
"It's so easy to see," Rhea said and kissed him on the forehead.
