She nodded.
"Well" She said changing the subject.
"If you need the advantage, you could always take a second pup." She said with a shrug.

"I think I'll be fine with just one pup. Thank you for the offer though." She said, Mithous snorted. Zirean smiled trying to ignor Mithous. She rolled up her sleeves since they were falling down. Zirean felt alittle embarrased about her scars, but she just ignored them.

"Alrighty then" She said with a smile.
She sensed her aprehention.

Zirean didn't really know what to say next for the most part. She turned to Mithous's side and said "I'm sorry, I'm just not that great at making a conversation. For me it's usually pretty quiet being out in the woods, except when your fighting of course. But that dosn't last very long." She said to Tyler.

"Thats ok" She said.
"I used to be quiet too... How old are you?" She asked, suddenly curious.

"I'm nineteen." She said giving her a crooked smile "My hieght dosn't really match my age much. But it helps when I need to get in a tight spot." Mithous put his back right foot up so that she lost her balance.
She said to him ~Do you mind?~
~huh? Oh whats that? Did the invisible horse just make you mad? So sorry.~ He snorted.
"You are in a grumpy mood today." She said aloud glaring at Mithous who was looking away from her at the moment.
She stood up and went out of the stall. She closed the door behind her.
~I'll ride you later~ She promised.
She went to her saddle which was currently lying on a rack. Along with her sword and her bow and arrows. She put the brush away in a saddle bag. The bridle was hanging up on a hook next to the Stall door. The fine black leather matched the blanket that went undernieth. She said "So....What's your age?" Zirean pulled out her soap stone and her fathers sword. She started sharpening the edge of the blade.

"I'm 22" She said matter of factly.
smiling tyler put out her hand to the horse.
"Bet you just want some attention." She cooed.
She had much experience with horses, having her first horse, Demtri at age 3.
She had trained her current horse from a wild born filly into a extremely well trained cow pony, who wouldnt hurt a fly.

"Wow, I wouldn't of guessed, I thought you would've been younger." She said smiling, then she notice Tyler wanting to stroke Mithous."Uh....." Zirean tried saying before Mithous laid his ears back and threw his head up. He snorted in disapprovel while he stepped backword a few steps. ~Mithous! Be nice!~ She said to him.
"Sorry about that. Last time someone tried to 'pet' him, he nearly bit off there fingers." She warned Tyler. Putting her sword and soapstone away, deciding that it wasn't the right time.
"Just been hard times and he hasn't got used to the idea of other people being nice to him. He'll have to warm up to you for a few days to see if your a friend or a foe. But after that he'd be willing to let you stroke him." She said explaining.
"My Teachers had to go through the same thing so don't worry about it. Though he'll have to get used to all the people here sooner or later. Your the first one he's met other than Saron." Mithous kicked the wall behind him, while he twitched his ears, and gave Tyler a dirty look.

She nodded respectfully and stepped back.

Mithous looked at Tyler and then at her with white in his eyes. He snorted and put his head in a back corner to make his point. With his rump showing instead of his head. Zirean shook her head "He'll get over it in a day or two. By then he should settle down." She said frowning at Mithous but he just ignored both of them. His tail twitched and he shook his mane.

She smiled.
"ITs ok." She remembered when she had first found Kemper, the way the 6 month old cub biting down on her brothers hand.

~You couldn't of tried to have been nice?~ She asked Mithous staring into the stall.
~Why would I want too? You mean more too me than her. Why should I be 'Nice'?~ He asked not turning to look at her.
~Well we have to get used to the villagers sooner or later. Hopefully sooner than later. It helps our reputation.~ She said to him while she looked back at Tyler.
She asked her "So....Do you live here or in what used to be Vandecar?" She asked so she could find her house later when she visited the puppy.

After a while Zirean tacked up Mithous. Wether he liked it or not she was going to go ride. So she grabbed her saddle, and placed it on his back ~What are you doing?~ He asked looking at her from behind.
~I'm going to go explore, After Mika let me touch the amulet thing. I might as well as see if I can find out my special talents.~ she said pulling up the girth strap up really tight. Then she put the bridle on and walked out of the barn.

-----Mika's house

Shaira's jaw dropped, amused of bird's huge wings and his wise look.
"This is... Dakhota?" she asked

"Yes, this is Dakhota" He said offering the bird an arm. Dakhota stepped up staring at the girl with his large golden eyes. He was a bit heavy, so it caused Kuruk's arm to bulge a bit. "Dakhota is a Bald Eagle, he is my spirit animal" Kuruk stated as he ran his fingers through his feathers and then looked at Shaira.

~I smell mice~ he said cocking his head a bit

"Wow he's... he is very beautiful" Shaira said softly and looked in the eagle's godlen eyes.

Nyx squeaked and snuggled closer to Shaira's neck.
~Come on, he's not gonna hurt you~ Shaira tried to calm her.
~Not gonna hurt me?! Do you know what eagles usually eat?!~ Nyx cheeped.

"Thank you" he nodded and threw Dakhota into the air. His large wing span opened up as his dark body flew into the sky and circled a while before heading back off into the woods. "He likes to fly with Samba" he said. "TRIGGER" he whistled an eagles cry. Trigger who was thought to be in the barn came around from behind the barn. "what are you doing?"
~Eating~ Trigger nodded his head up and down as he trotted up
"Eating what? You were sposed to be in the barn" He said to the horse
~Would you give up meat for jerky?~
"No"
~That's what I thought....and who is this lovely lady~ Trigger snorted as he nuzzled her hair and cheek
He hadn't told her that he spoke with animals, and didn't think anything of it till he saw her expression. "One of my powers is that I can speak to animals" He said putting a hand on Triggers buckskin rump.

Shaira's jaw dropped again
"You can talk with animals?"
As Trigger nuzzled her cheek she ran fingers over his brow and patted his neck.
"Wow he's beautiful" she smiled.

"Yes he is, smart too" he smiled "Do you have a spirit animal?" he asked politely

Shaira laughed and stroke Nyx' little back.
"Yes... that's Nyx."

"well isn't he precious" he said as he saw a small gray face ~Hello Nyx~ he said to the small mouse

~Oh at last somebody who I can speak to! Hello~ she squeaked happily.

~Haha you talk to Shaira don't you?~ he asked with a chuckle as he looked back into her eyes "Should we go see if Saron and Mika are ready yet?"

~Well yes, but it's nice to met other people too~ Nyx looked at him with his little sparkling eyes.

"Yes, we probably should..." Shaira smiled as she met his eyes. "Is there anything I actually have to do to become a villager or something like that?"

~Well it is a pleasure to meet you~ he said looking at his little twinkly eyes
"Well once your leader, which in this case is Saron, trusts you he will have you touch the amulet of power. It will give you special abilities, once that you were born with, but the magic to bring them to the surface has been taken from man kind" He shrugged, he had been reading up on it. "Like this for instance" he said as he stepped back and arched his chest and turned into a grizzly bear standing tall. He got down on all 4's and grinned and then morphed into a little mouse like Nyx, then back into himself "That is another one of my specialties" he said as he walked towards the house but taking his time.
