Town Hall

Mika smiled "I understand" she nodded. After a while she got up and went to the girl's room again. She laid down on the bed and with the light coming in through the window she looked through the diary by Chaya and Athara's father. She couldn't read the words but there were drawings as well. Drawings of children playing. Two girls dressing up. It had been a rich culture and people, so what had gone wrong? She sighed and flipped through the diary some more. Whisper wandered back and forth between the end of her bed and the fireplace in the next room all afternoon.

Malek opened his eyes gently, swearing he could feel someone kissing his cheek.
"Arya...?" He whispered, opening his eyes more.
Tsume was licking his cheek.
"Tsume. What are you doing?" He whispered and chuckled, sitting up.
"I could have sworn you were Arya..." He sighed and laid back down, looking up at the semi-dark ceiling, the glint of the snow shining on the walls.

Stark Paced slightly.
~Why dont people trust me?~ He asked to the little leopard.
~Hmm... Your new... you grow on people.~ He said with a purr.
~But I mean... What did I do to lose trust?~

Malek looked up as he heard someone pacing out in the front room.
'Who is that?' He asked himself, knowing no one else except Rhea and Ronan were here...maybe.
He stood up, holding Tsume, and walked out to the front room and saw a tall, dark haired man with a leopard.
"Hello." He asked cautiously.

"Hey." He said, extending his Hand to the man with the wolf.
"I'm Stark. And this is Suma." He said, pointing the the clouded leopard cub.

"I'm Malek. This is Tsume. He's not exactly my spirit animal...I am just taking care of him till spring." He introduced himself and the pup to the man and leopard.
"Nice to meet you, though." He said, shaking his hand and then letting go.

"He seems like he'll grow into a respectable Young wolf." He said with a nod.
"Yeah. I saved Suma and his brother from poachers... His Brother is smaller, and weak, So I've Been Carriying him in my pack." He said, pulled his small back pack off his back gently.
"Here we go" He said, pulling out the growling kit.

"Wow." He said, putting Tsume down on a blanket next to an arm chair and took the leopard, looking at it.
"Nice little guy." He handed him back and picked up Tsume again.

"Yeah. And rare too. Thats why the poachers wanted him." He grimaced, thinking about it.
"Hmmm... I think I'll call him Romoe.." He smiled.
"Good strong name."

Danielle brushed the loose snow of her arms and ran a hand through her hair, attempting to get some of the snow out of there too. Walking into the town hall, she heard voices, one vaguely familiar and one totally foreign. ~New guy?~ Alec wondered, shaking himself to get the white specks off him. ~Guess so.~

He Saw Mika Talking to A Young Girl, who looked about As Pregnant as Mika herself.
Finally the girl left, and Stark saw his chance to talk to her.
"Excuse me." He said to Malek, and walked over to Mika.

"What did I do?" He asked straight forward.

I had gone up to my loft to remove the wet cloak and change into dry clothes. Kenai sat at the stairs/ladder and looked up waiting. I came back down and saw Stark talking to mika.

Mika looked up. "Stark.." she said quietly "we have lost several villagers to the revenge, we have had one of our own turn on us...I am sorry if we are a bit suspious when a new comer comes, wants to take our friend away, claims he is a friend, won't tell her his first name and yet she trusts him completely even though she has never met you." Mika told him frankly.

Malek watched as Danielle walked in, shaking snow off of her, Saron came down from the loft, and Mika and Stark talked very sternly.
'Odd. Didn't think Mika would be this tough. Although we have had some terrible times with them stupid Revenge Riders damn Bardon brought here.' He sighed, still holding Tsume. He sat down and put Tsume on the floor, who tumbled around trying to half walk half run. He was just old enough to begin walking now.
~M...M...Mal...ek?~ He suddenly heard a voice in his head. He looked around franticly.
~M....M...Mi...ka? S...S....S...Sta....rk? Sar...Sar...Saron?~ The voice asked, just like a baby would. Malek still looked around, wondering where that voice came from.
~I am...down here....Mal...ek..~ The voice said again. He looked down and at his feet sat Tsume, the little pup.
"How....when....who...how..." He stammered. The little voice giggled in a childish way, almost wolf like.
~I am...y..y...yer sp-p-pirit an...an..~ Tsume screwed up as he thought.
~Animanal.~ Malek chuckled.
~Spirit animal.~
~Yeah that word.~ Tsume barked and fell backward, squirrming on the ground as he sat up again.

"Tyler and I have met." He said.
"2 years ago, I sheltered her from the revenge in Germany."

"Does she remember?" Mika asked

He looked at her confuzed.
"Yes?" He smiled.
"She even said she did." He laughed slightly.

~I heard it too!~ Squeeked the Cub.

He listened to the conversation between Stark and Mika.
'Tyler? What do they want with her?' He asked himself, watching Tsume fall over continuesly as he tried running from the chair to the fireplace.
~This...not...working...~ He grunted, standing up on wobly legs.

Mika looked at him suspiciously but shrugged. "Fine..if she wants to go with you than that is fine. But Tyler.." she said looking at her. "I am unsure of this arrangement" she said simply

"Mika." He said, honesty in his eyes.
"I promise. I'm not here to hurt anyone. Quite the oposite." He stared down at her.
"So please. Dont treat me like a convict."

Malek heard the sterness in both voices and walked over to the two, leaving Tsume to practice walking.
"Hey what's going on over here?" He asked, concerned.

Mika stared straight back at him, the fire that her eyes had held when she first came to the villages burning in her eyes. " I am not treating you like a convict, in fact I am treating you nicer than the past leader of Vandecar the first time I met him. Now..realize that I am her village leader and as such am responsible for her safety. No she is not a child..she can make her own descions. But it is my responsibility to voice my concerns. In case you haven't noticed it is the middle of winter out there. There is two feet of snow and it is rising. How far are you taking her in this weather? How will you stay warm?" Mika asked as her eyes almost sparked.

"Whoa, Mika, hold on. What's going on? I don't understand. What's this about Tyler?" He asked, his hands up in front of his face.
