Eli laughed.
{Yes well, It was the only way for us to comunicate.} He said with a sweet smile.
{So it only seemed logical for him to teach me.} He signed, his hands making swift and graceful movements through the air.

Trevon smiled and laughed at Elijah's comment {This is very true. He wouldn't have been able to communicate with me, and considering I was his big brother of sorts, and raised him....He needed to know what I was saying. But he was a fast learner and caught on quickly} He stated giving him a playful push and then smirked as he looked over at D'Heiren. He licked his lips as he admired her.

D'Heiren blushed under Trevon's obviously admiring gaze. "help me up," she said quietly, holding her hand up to him, "i want to see what's going on."

Eli laughed, catching his ballance.

Trevon held out his hand and pulled her to her feet and put an arm around her waist as she hobbled closer. He kissed the side of her head taking in the smell of her hair. {Elsa, D'Heiren} He motioned "This is Elsa, she's deaf" He said with a soft spoken voice

Shaira laughed as Eli lost his balance.
"Fast learner indeed" she joked, nudging him playfully.

Eli laughed and but his arm around shaira's waist.

D'Heiren leaned against Trevon and smiled at Elsa. "it's nice to meet you," she said, then watched closely as Trevon translated. she wanted to learn how to sign. already, she'd picked up on some words and letters, but mostly, Trevon, Eli, and Elsa signed too fast for her to see just what they were doing.

Trevon watched D'Heiren's eyes follow his hands. He grinned and nudged her "I'll teach you" and then looked up at Elijah and Shaira and smiled at them as well. Yes he spoke now-but he didn't always need to speak, his facial features were strong enough

Eli flashed trevon a happy look.

D'Heiren put an arm around Trevon's waist, leaning against him.

~i'm too tired. i shouldnt have jumped down from the loft like that...~ the cat began pawing at Trevon's pack, trying to get at the packet of jerky. ~why do humans feel compelled to tie everything up so tightly?,~ she whined, biting at a piece of the pack that was between her and the food.
~to keep animals from getting their food,~ D'Heiren said.

D'Heiren laughed. "Tesla is hungry," she said, "i told her to go hunt, but she's putting on her princess act right now."
the cat growled in protest and bit the pack again.

Eli snatched up treys bag with a smile.
"Here Telsa" he said, tossing her a big hunk of meat.

Trevon laughed and reached around to the cat and cradled her in his arm and scratched her chin. with his other hand he reached around to the jerky and let her take it with her mouth before setting her back down on the ground.
"Should we go outside?" He asked pointing outside where the sun was bright and the birds were singing.

Eli shrugged and gestured to shaira towards the door.

Shaira smiled.
"Sure. it's such a beautiful weather today."

Tesla meowed her appreciation for the jerky, and carried it back into the stall where she could lay on the pile of straw while eating. D'Heiren rolled her eyes and laughed. ~spoiled brat,~ she teased.

D'Heiren laughed again. "sure, it's too nice to spend all day inside.~

Trevon bent a bit at the knees offering his back to D'Heiren. "Then lets go outside and enjoy the sunlight." He grinned and piggie backed her outside "Come on you two love birds" He joked as they hadn't followed yet. His own voice still sounded odd to even himl

D'Heiren blinked as Trevon carried her out into the sunlight. she kissed the back of his neck. "you're calling THEM lovebirds?" she laughed.

Eli punched trevon playfully and followed them out side; hand in hand with shaira.

Smiling, Shaira looked up into the cloudless sky.
"Gosh it's really beautiful day today" she smiled playfully at Eli.

"not the only beautiful thing i see" he said looking adoringly at her.
Leaning in, he kissed her forhead gently.

Shaira smiled at Eli and leaned closer to him as he kissed her forehead. She wrapped her hadns around him and closed her eyes, her head resting on his chest.

Eli's eyes widened slightly at her affection, but wrapped his arms around her happily.

Elsa had smiled and nodded but had gotten lost in the "hubbub" after everyone disappeared she sighed quietly and wandered off into the fields.

Mika silently walked into the barn. Quietly she tacked up Koda and put a small halter on Dancer. She then tacked up Saron's cremello young stallion and tied them for a moment. Walking down the aisles she nickered to the horses calming them and telling them to be good while she was away. She sighed and tears glistened in her eyes as she thought of leaving her home. But it could not be helped. With a sigh she sat down and wrote a note to Zirean.

"Dear Zirean,

Saron, Jason and I must leave for several months. It could even be several years. We have gotten word that no only do our lives have price on them but the whole village as a result of our residence here. Therefore for everyone's protection we will disappear until it is safe to return. As such I am leaving my responsiblites here to you. I know you will take good care of Cahoon. I am taking Koda and Dancer as Dancer is to young to be separated yet. Therefore Dancer will be an extra mount for us in the future. We are also taking Saron's young stallion. All the rest of the horses are Cahoon's. Including Beauty. He is a good stud and he throws beautiful foals. You have a good starting herd of cattle and goats. There is also a good supply of chickens for eggs. In the foothills I have spotted sheep. If you wish to get into the wool market they are available. I hope to see you all soon. Farewell

With a sigh Mika folded the letter and put it in Mithous' tack box. Then in one swift movement she gathered the reins of the two horses she was ponying and swung up onto Koda "haiiii" she urged the horse and they trotted out of the barn and then over to her house where Saron and Jason were waiting. Without a word and only a glance at her home, she secured Jason on her back and Saron swung up onto his young stallion. With a soft clucking they cantered off into the forest and away.
