"You might be ok in a few days. Any idea of where you are going to find any?! Or are you just scouting?" I asked. I didn't know much about horses but my father tought me a few things. More about medicine and farming.

Mika looked at him a little surprised. "Broken ribs don't heal that quickly do they?" "Um just scouting at this point. There is bound to be either wild herds or if any other the horses escaped from the village there could even be some horses like the mustangs where I came from. When we do want to catch them we could either just get a horse at a time till we have enough to herd the rest in...or we could try and lure them in." she shrugged slightly. Whisper walked up. ~Or you could simply call them..~ ~Shhh I don't know if that works on all animals and...and well...they might not react well to having someone that can..SOMETIMES talk with animals...it isn't very reliable you know~

"No they don't, but you can't be a sack of potatoes eather for the next 3 months. Quite frankly I need to head back soon too" I laughed "You'll be just fine it sounds like. If you need some help however let us know." I patted Imatari on the head.

I sighed and blinked before looking back up at Mika

Arya stopped Phoenix in out of hearing range. She didn't wanted to disturb them so she waited. Arya yawned and started to braid Phoenix' long mane.

Mika smiled "true, ok we will" she nodded. She slowly stroked Whisper. She saw him looking at her and glanced down slightly. "I'm sure the two villages will be interacting some with the engagement and everything..."

Shiroi and Kai came running up, both looked well fit, they reached the stables, my face had happy beams on it, my naturally pale face has rosey cheeks, "What's up!?" i asked in a friendly manner.

"Ya we will have to see. It doesn't look like your soil is fit to grow crops, So i'm sure you will be stopping by to get oats too." I smiled and then saw Kai come running up. The way he was running I was worried something happend. "What's wro....Oh...nothing we were just looking at the warehouse." I sighed in relief.

Arya hopped down from Phoenix' back.
"Heya" she smiled at Jarlon. "So... what are we gonna do today?"

Mika nodded. "And hay this winter" she winked. She looked up when Kai came running out of the forest. "Well hello again Kai" she said cheerfully.

"Hey arya" My smile brightened. "well...We should head back and check on our crops and chickens."

Arya smiled.
"Ok... we can ride back" she pointed at Phoenix.

"Hi Mika" she smiled at her. "You feeling better?"

Mika looked up. " A little, ribs still hurt but that is to be expected."

"Ouch" Arya grimaced pityingly.

She glanced at Jarlon and managed to not smile, but she grinned inside.

"I'll be ok" Mika smiled "I've survived worse" she looked at Jarlon and her eyes grew a little sad before she looked down again and started walking the perimeter of the barn.

Arya bit her lip seeing Mika's eyes grow sad. She felt bad inside.

I quickly cought up to her "are you sure you'll be ok here alone?" I looked at her with both hands on her arm. "I know none of this had been easy for you....thank you for trusting me" I smiled sweetly then gave her a big hug, but didn't squeeze in fear of hurting her. I quickly let go and then went over to Arya. I hopped up behind her on pheonix "ready when you are" I put my arms around her.

"Bye Mika" she said to mika and tried to smile.

Arya blushed when she felt Jarlon's hands around her and was almost glad he didn't see her face.
"Off you go boy" she whispered to Phoenix. Phoenix took off with a crazy gallop.

----------Rhea's house ?

Mika looked up when Jarlon caught up to her. "I'll be ok, thank you, and...thank you for teaching me to trust again" she smiled sweetly. She let him hug her and even gave him a little bit of a hug back. She watched as he hopped up behind Arya and held on. She smiled but inside a little bit of her was breaking. She liked him more than she would ever let on. She smiled and waved before turning to see what Kai was up to. Maybe he could distract her.

"I have to come back anyway...gotta work on that reading....so try to practice when you can...ok" I smiled. "To the fields..........weeeeeeeeeeeeee....go" I whiplashed back as Pheonix took off running. I bounced up and down on his butt as he ran through the forest.

I walked up to the barn, Takyia next to me, and noticed a few people here. I found a stump and decided to sit down, thinking about returning to Vandecar.

Mika looked up "Hi Sloan, um Arya and Jarlon just headed back to Vandecar. Do you want to join them?" she asked not trying to be rude.

I looked up at Mika standing in front of me.
"Oh yeah I didn't know they headed back. Thanks for letting me know." I smiled and stood.
~Let's head back now, now that I know someone is there.~ I smiled at Takyia

Kai looked around the stables, "Hmmmm...." 'everything looks like it needs help' i thought turning back to see Jarlon dash off, i opened my mouth to say something but closed it again seeing Mikas face, "You ok?" i asked with a friendly smile.

Mika smiled. "Your welcome." As she watched Sloan disappear she turned to find Kai. 'Where did he disappear off to?" she sighed "Oh, your right here" she chuckled "Um ya...I'll be fine" she said softly. "So we ready to start working on the barn?"

I cocked my head to the side and looked Mika in the face but not to close, "Yup i'm back...." i smiled cheerfully, i was very happy today. "Sure i'd love to help on the barn....are you up to it though?" i asked. "Would you like a hand?" i asked in a unpushy way, i half put out my hand incase she didn't want it. Shiroi walked up and rubbed Mika's leg, ~She has no reason to trust you....~ I know...~ ~Well i just want you to know.......~Shiroi looked at me, ~and remember, don't get to close!~ he warned. i gave him a silly grin as if to say, 'i know that...duhhhh'
