As Kuruk mentioned wet paint, Shaira looked at her fingers, what were a bit red and yellow.
"Ooops... um... but what about this?"
She drew a few stripes on her forehead and cheeks, and then turned to Kuruk.
"Well, better isn't it?" she laughed. Eagle feather given by him was also still in her hair.

Kuruk had to laugh at her make shift war paint "Looks better on you anyway" he laughed and Trigger shook his mane. Kuruk reached up and played with the feather in her hair. "and that looks good on you too. I'm to the point where if I don't have mine i feel naked and alone. I miss it when it's not there" he shrugged and smiled

'Is he still talking about feathers?' she thought, but as he smiled again a smile spread over Shaira's face as well.
She reached her hand out, straightening feather in his hair too, her face only inches away from his.
"These marks and symbols... what do they mean? Feather for example" she asked looking into his eyes.

"the feathers stand for wisdom, strength, and swiftness, just like the bearer of the feathers, the eagle. Where the paint means different things as well. The patterns of the paint were give to us from the spirit animals that live in the forests and prairies"

Shaira straightened the feather and stepped back, looking at him critically.
"Oh well looks good enough" she said jokingly and winked at him.
"Can't wait til the tonight's fest"

"Me either" he returned the smile and grabbed several large hoops "I spose I should be getting out there, make sure the fire gets started up"

Sharia walked to Amira who was tied up in the next box. As she heard him talk to her, she looked back at him
"Ok I'll... see you later then" she said softly and fugitively met his eyes "I'll be here if you need me" she gave him a smile but then quickly turned back to Amira.

Kuruk quickly and swiftly swung onto the back of his buckskin mustang. The head dress dangling on either side of the horse. together they looked like an Indian from a war scene. "see you at sun down" he smiled and spun him around and cantered out the door towards Mika's house

"Seeya" Shaira said silently as they cantered off, following him with eyes. She felt something tingle her cheek and found Nyz sitting on her shoulder.
~Shaira! You like him don't you now?~ she squeaked excitedly. Shaira glared at her.
~Ofcourse I don't. Why'd you think that?~
~Come on, I can see that. You like him!~
~No I don't!~
~Yes you do!~
~No, I don't. Stop it!~
Nyx pretended to not hear her and Shaira shook her off her shoulder.
~Hey!~ Nyx protested, as she fell in the straw.
~What?~ Shaira asked innocently looking down at her. Nyx shook her small head and disappeared.
With a soft chuckle Shaira hopped on Amira's back and leaned her head on horse's neck, humming silently.

Mika walked quietly into the stable.

"Ok so starting out we have Koda and Dancer, they are out at the beach right now all painted up for the pow-wow tonight. Then there is this pretty girl, Mika motioned to a palomino mare. "She has just been gentled and is looking for a rider if you are up to is Daughtry" Mika smiled "and then this is Zip's stall. And now we are into the boys" Mika chuckled "We have Rio" she motioned to the tall white horse. "And Beauty, he is our main stud here and my horse when I can't ride Koda" she pointed out the black Andalusian/paso fino type horse. "And then here are the other various geldings and stallions. A dapple grey, and bay" Mika smiled.

Tyler dismounted, helped Daughtry down and stalled Zip.

pierce had been sitting in rio's stall, whitteling when he heard voices.
Hoping it was Rial he hopped up, smacking his heads on the 7 foot ceiling.
~Goddess I;m gettng taller.~ He said with a laugh to the white horse.
Rio snorted.
~'m no shorter either.~ He said grouchily.

Pierce looked out of the stall with his good eye and saw tyler and Mika, plus a new girl.
He ducked under the stall door and walked towards them, letting Rio out too.
~Good to stretch my legs~ Said the young white stallion.
~I know!~ Pierce said, agreeing.

"I'm pierce" He said, holding out his massive hand t the newcomer.

"And the horse is rio, my spirit animal." He said guesturing to the albino thoroughbred.

At a glance, pierce looked like fearsom warrior, huge (6 foot 8...) and muscular.
but when you got to know him, he was as gentle as a puppy and wouldnt hurt a fly.

Shaira walked in and saw an extremely tall man standing in the stables.
"Hello there" she smiled and stepped closer.

He turned, not believing the voice he heard.
"Arya?" He asked before seeing her.
Turning he exposed his mangles face, yet the other half showed how handsome he used to be.
He saw a girl.
Younger than arya.
She looked so alike.
Pierce cocked his head.

Shaira bit her lip seeing expression on his face.
"My name's Shaira. I'm... well, Arya is my stepsister" she gave him half sad smile.

He blinked a few times, taking the sight of her in.
Taking a step forward he extended his massive hand.
"I'm Pierce. Pierce Von."
~She.. She looks like arya.~ He whispered to Rio.

Shaira shook her hand.
"Pleasure to meet you. Arya.. has told me about you" she smiled.

He smiled broadly.
"She's missed." He said humbly.

"Missed? You talk like she would be dead.... but she's not, isn't she? - one day she will return... I'm sure of that" she looked in his eyes.

"Goddes I hope so." He said exhaling loudly.
"She's my best friend." He said sadly.

"I'm sorry."
Not knowing what to say at his sadness, she looked elsewhere.
"You comin' to the pow-wow tonight?"

"Yeah.. I may" He said perking up.
"So what brings you to cahoon?" He asked, changing the subject.

"Looking for a place to live" Shaira shrugged and smiled coyly.

He chuckled.
"Join the party" He said with a whry smile.
"I've stayed in the warehouse for almost 4 months.'="

"Warehouse? Seriously? But isn't there.. any empty houses left then?"

He shrugged, His good eye sparkeling.
"If there is I dont really want it. I like being with rio." He said pointing to the enormous albino horse.
